The North Avenue Christian School was organized in 1978 as an outreach ministry of North Avenue Alliance Church. The initial goal was to provide childcare for children in a Christian environment. Due to the success of the childcare program, kindergarten, first and second grades were added in 1986.

Currently NACS enrolls children from 3 years old through second grade. While also offering before and after-school programs for an additional fee.
